Sandra L. Stabler Cotner
Sandra ‘Sandy’ L. Cotner, age 75, passed away July 8, 2017. She was a lifelong resident of Tallahassee and a 1959 graduate of Leon High School. She retired from the State of Florida, Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicle after 26 years, and was a member of the Red Hat Society.
Sandra enjoyed taking weekend trips to our small surrounding towns with her husband of 38 years, Carl.
Preceded in death by her parents James and Era Mae Stabler as well as a sister Sylvia Nevels.
She is survived by her husband Carl Cotner, one son, Nathan Humphries (Diana) three daughters; Celeda Wallace (Donnie), Alane West (Lambert) and Aletha Young (Terry), two step-children; Wayne Cotner (Laura) and Gina Ragans (Kenny), fifteen grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends and family on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 2 pm at Bevis Funeral Home, 2710 N. Monroe Street, Tallahassee, with a memorial service to follow at 3 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308
